  • The informal orientation meeting for first-time conference attendees and new teachers Friday morning at 7:45 in Salon D.

WAFLT New Teacher Scholarships are designed to help teachers new to the profession attend their first professional conference.  Applicants must be in their first, second, or third year of teaching and current members of WAFLT.  Scholarships will be awarded to the first 10 qualifying teachers. Scholarships will include registration to the WAFLT conference and one free luncheon ticket.  Applicants must first join WAFLTApply here!

  • Refund Procedure:

    • Conference refund requests must be made in writing by November 30, 2024 and sent to WAFLT, P.O. Box 1493, Appleton, WI 54912.
    • A service charge of $20.00 is applied to all refunds.
    • Meals are non-refundable.
    • Membership dues are nonrefundable.

Parking: Washington Street Ramp (entrances on Washington or Division) and Midtown Ramp (entrances on Superior, Appleton, and Lawrence Streets) have skywalks to the Paper Valley Hotel. 

HOW DOES THE CITY OWNED COVERED PARKING RAMP WORK?

Option 1) Paid validation for guests with hotel room in Red/Midtown Ramp (parking is conveniently added to the sleeping room bill/receipt and guests can come and go using the same pass)

  • $10 per night for unlimited in/out privileges (good for 24 hours)
  • Insert ticket to leave ramp. Scan the same ticket to re-enter the ramp.

Option 2) Pay each time you exit the Red/Midtown parking ramp or Green/Washington Street Ramp via credit card or cash.

  • $3 for less than four hours. $6 for over four hours up to 24 hours.
  • $6 for every 24 hours that you stay parked on the ramp. Receipt given at ramp.7
